The 1.25GW is our second largest bass model and is a frequent choice throughout the industry. This mouthpiece is nearly identical to our standard 1.25G with the one exception being that the 1.25GW (wide) rim is slightly wider. (The contact surface is .025 wider than standard). This model is equally at home in the orchestra, jazz band, brass quintet, and much much more. The 1.25GW is a good do all mouthpiece for bass trombone. The 1.25G W has a 7.01mm/ .276in. throat and a 27.5mm/ 1.083in. internal diameter.
