The 1GW is our largest offering for bass trombone. This mouthpiece is nearly identical to our standard 1G with the one exception being that the 1GW (wide) rim is slightly wider. (The contact surface is .025 wider than standard). This mouthpiece is for the player who prefers a slightly darker tone and increased power. If you need to play incredibly loud with a rich and distinguished tone then this might be your next mouthpiece. The 1GW has a 8.103/ .319in. throat and a 28.00mm/ 1.102in. rim internal diameter.
