The 51DW is a fresh take on a classic style. This mouthpiece is nearly identical to our standard 51D with the one exception being that the 51DW (wide) rim is slightly wider. (The contact surface is .025 wider than standard). The 51DW offers a lot of versatility without sacrificing power. Our 51DW is equally at home with the soloist and in the section of a larger or chamber ensemble. A great do all mouthpiece famously chosen for the euphonium but often paired well with trombone players. The 51DW S has a 5.84mm/ .230in. throat and a 25.53mm/ 1.005in. rim internal diameter. The 51DW S is a small shank mouthpiece.
